Meet Monica Laurence, owner of Tavola Villa
Hi, I'm Monica. I live my life as a serial entrepreneur and conscious explorer. I first arrived in the Fiji Islands as a teenager and have called it home ever since. After decades of living between Fiji and the San Francisco Bay Area in California, I bought this magnificent property in 2018 and crafted it as a luxury oasis for impact-driven entrepreneurs, creators and leaders.
Tavola Villa is my living dream of a global sanctuary for people to be recharged by these wild and soulful islands that have captured my heart. Here I host Stillness Retreats, combining the mysticism of Fiji, the rebel spirit of Silicon Valley and the transformative inventiveness of story.

Meet Monica's Three Children
Christian, Keenan and Vivian are all quite accustomed to island life. The three kids were born into a life of sand, sun and sea thanks to Monica, whom they call Momo. They're all grown up now and come back often to enjoy this special place with gratitude.
Vivian joined the grand adventure to launch Tavola with Momo in 2018. She curates the playlists and often writes music of her own while visiting the villa. Christian is a mathematician and computer scientist who is best known as Tavola's master of games. Keenan is a professional ultimate frisbee player. He keeps everyone living playfully with good humor and lots of outdoor activities (coconut bocce ball was his idea).
